The Real Met Life
After getting some happy snaps of my good friend Mayor Michael Bloomberg, I was fortunate enough to chance upon this lovely sunset during my ride home over the Brooklyn Bridge. It never gets old (in part because sunsets like this don’t happen all that often).
C’mon February
Yesterday, February 1st, 2012, in NYC the temperature was hitting the low 60s. As pleasant as it was to bike around in nothing more than a tshirt and flannel, things sure didn’t feel right.
I captured this image in December, 2009 and frankly, this is the sort of scene I would like to see outside my door tonight. That gentle fall of snow, the crunch of footsteps, and the muffled silence of the air. This is February after all.
Wishful thinking I suppose…
